Planning on studying Dentistry or Medicine?

If so, please note that the 2010 UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) is a requirement of the admission process for 26 medical and dental schools in the UK and it must be taken by candidates who want to apply for entry in 2011 and deferred entry for 2012.

Although there is no fixed date for sitting the exam, candidates will be required to register for the test before the 27 September 2010 and sit the test before 8 October 2010.  Bursaries are available to candidates in receipt of the Education Maintenance Allowance.

Candidates are strongly recommended to register and sit the UKCAT at their earliest convenience to ensure that places are available at their chosen test centre. Candidates sitting UKCAT in the UK and Republic of Ireland may be required to travel more than 40 miles to sit the exam if they do not register and book early.
