Volunteering Abroad for FREE!
Ever wanted to go away and do your bit but you couldn’t afford/understand why you should have to pay to help? Well, if you are aged 18-25 years, then Platform 2 might be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
They are offering you the chance to go to a developing country, such as South Africa, Ghana, India or Peru to do some community work. Placements are for up to 10 weeks and include:
- return economy flights
- travel insurance
- local food and accommodation
- health screening, a medical kit
- all minimum vaccinations
- transfers to and from the airport in country and to and from the project
- a guidebook
- full training in the UK and in the country
- a small local allowance!
All you have to pay for is transport to and from your interview, to and from Heathrow Airport and any passport costs.
