Exam results time can be a worrying time, and upsetting for students who don't get the results they expected. The Department for Education provide a free A level and GCSE Results Helpline for students, offering expert independent information and advice on applying for university or college, taking time out, or choosing to enter employment.  Calls are dealt with in confidence by specially trained Advisers who have access to an on-line database provided by UCAS, giving them up to the minute information on course availability.  Calls are free from a landline but mobile charges may vary Tel: 0808 100 8000
