Exercise! Why bother?
There are several reasons - it’s a way of keeping fit and helps to keep your weight down. It's also a way of easing tension so if you're feeling stressed or up-tight a bit of a work-out will ease that tension.
It’s recommended that everyone should have at least 30 minutes of physical exercise a day, this will improve your health by lowering blood pressure, increasing muscle strength and bone health, helping with sleep patterns and increasing energy levels.
If you're interested in sport and keeping fit, there is a whole range of activities you can get involved in. Use the links below to find local clubs, gyms and leisure centres in your area.
