CHILL OUT+

Who are we?

Chill Out+ is a Children's Funded project that supports young people to remain in further education.

What do we do?

• We aim to work with students when they leave Year 11 and during Year 12
• We aim to support them with the transition from a school environment into a College
• We recognise some of the barriers that young people face from day to day and try to support them through these to ensure they remain in eduction and achieve
• We have the flexibility to visit young people at home should they require support outside the normal settings and we are able to advocate on their behalf
• We run activities during the holidays to keep young people engaged and also build confidence and help them make new friends

Young people have the opportunity to work towards becoming a volunteer and in turn can become a Peer Mentor
