I hate sport, what else can I do?
There are lots of other ways of getting your daily dose of exercise besides taking part in sporting activities.
For example:
- walk to school/work instead of going in the car or bus
- cycle to school, or to visit friends
- walk up and down stairs instead of using the lift or escalator
- volunteer for ‘dog walking’
- when you’re out and about walk a little faster than usual
- dance – why not go to your room and dance to your favourite music
- exercise using a DVD exercise programme - ask your friends to join you to make it more fun
