When you mix alcohol and cocaine, there is an increased risk of sudden death compared to taking cocaine on its own
Cocaine can cause heart attacks- especially in the first hour after taking it - even if you’re fit and healthy.
Sniffing substances such as glue and aerosols is most common among 11-16 year olds and causes more deaths in this age group than Class A drugs. Instant death has been known to occur even for first-time users.
Although legal, tobacco is a drug. It contains over 4000 chemicals including arsenic, caffeine, mercury, lead and tar. Smoking contributes to 120,000 premature deaths each year in the U.K.
