Drinking in moderation is usually okay, but binge drinking or regular drinking can become a serious habit.
Short term affects:
- Slurred speech
- Feeling emotional/tearful
- Sickness or nausea
- Lack of co-ordination
- Lack of judgement
- Aggressive behaviour
- Hangover - this can be anything from a mild headache to feeling really ill
Long term affects:
- Liver damage
- Stomach ulcers
- Heart problems
- Brain damage
- Sexual problems
- Addiction
