What are the side effects of drinking alcohol?

 

Drinking in moderation is usually okay, but binge drinking or regular drinking can become a serious habit.

 
Short term affects:
  • Slurred speech
  • Feeling emotional/tearful
  • Sickness or nausea
  • Lack of co-ordination
  • Lack of judgement
  • Aggressive behaviour
  • Hangover - this can be anything from a mild headache to feeling really ill
 Long term affects:
  • Liver damage
  • Stomach ulcers
  • Heart problems
  • Brain damage
  • Sexual problems
  • Addiction
