Youth Service

The main purpose of the Youth Service is to provide personal and social development opportunities for, and with, young people.  These opportunities will be challenging, supportive and exciting and will enable young people to:

  • Take greater control over their lives and environment
  • Engage in their local communities
  • Have a voice and influence
  • Help fulfil their potential
  • Enhance the quality of their lives
  • Remain involved in lifelong learning
Coventry Youth Service offers a programme of personal and social development to young people aged 11 – 21 years.  With over 30 youth centres and projects in the City the Service aims to extend the experience of young people complementing the more formal learning received in schools.  Residentials, overseas exchanges and outdoor activities are organised as well as arts and music based projects.
