John George Terry is a renowned professional footballer whose stardom outspreads beyond the field and into being an international celebrity. Terry is well known for playing the centre-back position and is the captain in the Chelsea in the Premier League. He was also heading the England national team from August 2006 - February 2010 and also from March 2011- February 2012.
On the professional side, John Terry has always risen up to the peaks. He was titled the Club defender of the year-UEFA three times, each in 2005, 2008 and 2009. He was named PFA Player of the year 2005. He was also counted in the FIFPro World XI for about four seasons in a single series, from 2005 to 2008. The 2006 FIFA world cup included him in the all-star squad. He was the only English player to be included in it.
He is considered to be one of the best successful captains heading the Chelsea team, responsible for the three Premier Leagues titles, four FA cups, two of them were of the League cups and one belonging to the UEFA Champions league.
